ZI-AI Publications
Effective date: 17 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions include our payment, delivery, cancellation and refund policies.
The ZI-AI Publications online bookstore is operated by ZI-AI PUBLICATIONS (PTY) LTD, a company registered in the Republic of South Africa.

By placing an order through this website, the customer confirms that the information supplied is accurate and agrees to these Terms and Conditions. The customer should read these terms before completing payment.
If the customer does not accept these terms, the customer should not proceed with the purchase.
ZI-AI Publications sells original publications through its online bookstore. Unless a different format is expressly stated on the relevant book page, the product supplied is a digital eBook.
Where the payment processor displays or charges an equivalent amount in another currency, the converted amount and any applicable exchange rate will be presented during checkout. The customer is responsible for any foreign-exchange or international transaction charge imposed separately by the customer’s own bank or card issuer.
ZI-AI Publications is not presently registered for VAT. No VAT is represented as being charged by ZI-AI Publications unless this is expressly stated in the future.
Every order receives a unique order number. Submission of an order does not by itself constitute successful payment.
Payment is processed securely by Payfast or another payment service expressly identified at checkout. ZI-AI Publications does not directly receive or store the customer’s complete card details.
An order is treated as paid only after the payment processor sends successful and verifiable payment confirmation to the ZI-AI Publications system. A screenshot, bank notification or statement supplied by a customer does not replace confirmation from the payment processor.
ZI-AI Publications may decline or investigate an order where fraud, unauthorised use, a pricing error, duplicate processing or another material irregularity is reasonably suspected.
eBooks are delivered electronically. Once successful payment has been verified by the payment processor, the system is intended to release access to the purchased eBook automatically.
The customer will receive the download or access information through the confirmation process and, where applicable, at the email address supplied with the order.
The customer is responsible for providing a correct and accessible email address, checking the spam or junk folder and protecting the issued download information.
If automatic delivery fails after payment has been confirmed, the customer should contact orders@zi-ai.website and provide the order number. ZI-AI Publications will investigate the transaction and restore access or provide the correct purchased file where payment is verified.
Each successfully paid eBook copy may be assigned its own unique copy or download serial number. The serial number identifies that particular issued copy. The ZBRI registration number identifies the publication itself and is not the customer’s individual copy number.
A copy number is created or released only after successful payment has been verified.
An unpaid order may be abandoned or cancelled before payment is completed.
A customer who wishes to request cancellation after payment should contact orders@zi-ai.website immediately and provide the order number.
Because an eBook is a digital product intended for automatic delivery after verified payment, cancellation may no longer be practically possible once access to the purchased file has been released or the download has begun. Nevertheless, every cancellation request will be considered in accordance with these terms and any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Refunds are not granted merely because a customer changes their mind after the correct eBook has been delivered or made accessible, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
A refund, replacement file or restored access may be provided where:
Before issuing a refund for an inaccessible or defective file, ZI-AI Publications may first attempt to replace the file, restore access or provide reasonable technical assistance.
Refund requests should include the customer’s name, order number, book title and a clear description of the problem. Requests must be sent to orders@zi-ai.website .
An approved refund will ordinarily be returned through the original payment method. The time taken for the amount to appear may depend upon Payfast, the customer’s bank or the customer’s card issuer.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Purchase of an eBook grants the customer a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to read and use the purchased copy for lawful personal purposes.
Unless prior written permission has been obtained from ZI-AI Publications, the customer may not reproduce, upload, distribute, resell, share, publish or make the eBook available to another person, whether in full or in substantial part.
Ownership of the copyright and other intellectual-property rights does not pass to the customer through the purchase of an eBook.
Customer information is used for processing orders, confirming payments, delivering purchased products, preventing fraud, providing support and maintaining legally or operationally necessary records.
Customers must not submit false information or use another person’s identity, card, account or email address without lawful authority.
Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website, payment process and delivery system available. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, hosting failure, payment-network delay, internet disruption or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of ZI-AI Publications.
A temporary interruption does not remove the customer’s entitlement to receive a correctly purchased eBook after payment has been verified.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any mandatory consumer-protection rights applicable to a transaction remain unaffected.
ZI-AI Publications may update these Terms and Conditions when its products, payment arrangements, delivery system or legal obligations change. The version displayed when an order is placed will apply to that order, subject to applicable law.
